October is the tail end of the rainy season in Chiang Mai and the water levels in Mae Taeng are generally high and fast, which makes for great rapids! If you visit during this season our 10KM white water rafting adventure is going to be a blast. There are some big drops and thrilling whitewater sections, expect to get wet! For families and those looking for a less extreme experience we have an 8KM option which skips the biggest rapids. Every rafting adventure starts with a full safety briefing and demonstration of how to be safe in the river. We have the highest quality lifejackets, helmets and rafts suitable for all conditions. Your English speaking guides will provide instructions and guidance along the way, its super important to listen to their commands and help manoeuvre the raft to the best positions.
