Day Trip from Chiang Mai
This trip runs from February to May each year, when the river is more fun in inflatable kayaks (IKs). At other times please book Whitewater Rafting and ATV
Combine a 10KM Whitewater Adventure in an Inflatable Kayak (IK) with a 3 Hour ATV Safari. This action packed one day tour from Chiang Mai is a great way to experience rivers, mountains and jungle.
We have top-of-the-line equipment and highly trained guides to make sure you have a safe adventure. We have towels for you when you finish and shower facilities that you can use before heading home. Make sure to bring a 2nd set of dry clothes so you can ride home dry!
Enjoy a delicious lunch of chicken kiev, salad, Thai soup and local fruit. Vegetarian options are available. Ride in comfort in an air conditioned van. Free drinking water, tea and coffee, we have a shop with snacks and icecreams.
8Adevnture’s 3 hour ATV trip is set up for beginners to intermediate drivers. We start out with detailed instructions and a training course to get you comfortable with your vehicles. It’s a mix of road and off-road jungle terrain and is well-suited for those that would like to explore the local countryside and see it a different way. We have different tracks that we choose based on weather conditions, road conditions and driver abilities. If you have driven ATV’s before please let us know your riding ability.
8Adventure’s 10KM Inflatable Kayaking has it all. Its broken into 3 sections. The first section is a great warm-up where you learn skills practicing with the guides and getting used to the kayak. This section has one class III and is probably the most beautiful section of the river with the encroaching jungle offering lots of shade. The second section is action-packed with rapids and is probably the best whitewater in Thailand. Most of this section is class III and IV rapids. The third section lets up in the beginning giving you some time to relax before entering a great class III rapid leading into a short continuous section of rapids that goes almost all the way to the take out where our camp is.
